Tranquil Parks news January 2026

We’re starting off the year with a 5-night stay at Old Oaks Touring, Camping & Glamping Park to be won. As you may know, this is a much loved and multi-award winning park set in Somerset farmland near Glastonbury. It’s a peaceful and relaxing base for exploring this scenic and historic part of the country, with luxurious amenities and thoughtful touches.

The Old Oaks was Overall Winner for the Top 100 Sites 2025, as both a Regional Winner and Best Site for Caravans. It also picked up the prestigious VisitEngland Rose Award and the campsites.co.uk Best Adult Only Site title, having won the AA’s first ever Sustainable Park of the Year award for 2024/25.

Renowned for beautiful borders, fabulous facilities, perfect pitches and doggie delights, The Old Oaks also has a large fishing lake and great walks from the park as well as excellent food options and an honesty bar. The prize is 5 nights on a Super A, Super B or Standard Electric pitch for a low season stay – see T&Cs for details.

Congratulations to the team and what a great start to the year. “Immaculate facilities, well maintained facilities and close to city and countryside”, commented the inspector.
