Tranquil Parks is a unique membership organisation for child-free touring parks, which are family owned and run. All of our parks are different; some offer purely touring pitches, some have glamping accommodation, such as bell tents, shepherd huts or pods, while others have lodges and cottages.
The Tranquil Parks group is run on a voluntary basis by a small number of park owners and our current Chairman is Mark Bell, owner of Daisy Bank Touring Park in Wales. When you visit one of our parks, you can expect a peaceful stay and often you’ll find added extras that you might not find on some other touring parks.
In 1999, the idea for Tranquil Parks came from Ray Betton of Bath Chew Valley Caravan Park. At this time, the concept of adult only parks was relatively unknown and Ray realised that quality, child-free parks could reach a wider audience if they worked together. 20 years on, the group has grown from 7 parks to 39, as has the demand for parks that offer a peaceful adult only experience.
Member parks are inspected by other park members to ensure that they are good fit for the group and that our customers will enjoy a tranquil stay and excellent customer service.
Our parks range from 12 pitches right up to over 100, with a wide choice of pitch types. Many have wifi, some have restaurants or cafes, others have fishing on-site. Whatever your requirements, you can expect high grade toilets and showers and often many added extras. A growing number of our parks offer alternative accommodation or glamping. Please take a look around the website to find out more.
